Realor Privacy Policy

This page describes data flows visible in the current Realor application. The date and contact details must be completed before release.

Information processed

• Account information: Realor authenticates through Whop and receives a Whop user identifier and, when provided, an email address. The app stores account identifiers, email, plan, and subscription status in Appwrite.
• Text and URLs: Text submitted for a scan is sent to Google Gemini for analysis. For URL scans, the server requests the submitted URL, extracts readable page text, and sends that content for analysis.
• Images: Uploaded image bytes are sent to Google Gemini for analysis. The application also uses the model for reading visible image text; no separate OCR provider is configured in this code.
• AI providers: Plus scans may send text to Sapling for AI-likeness scoring when a Sapling API key is configured. Gemini is used for analysis; its Google Search grounding is enabled for Plus scans.
• Usage and scan history: Appwrite stores daily request counts. The application writes scan results and fields including a text preview, full analyzed text, scores, summary, source, scan mode, article URL/title, image filename, and timestamp to its history collection.
• Billing: Checkout and membership management are directed to Whop. Realor does not receive payment card details through the application code.

Terms of Service

Realor provides AI-assisted analysis of text, article URLs, and images. Results can be incomplete or incorrect and should be checked against relevant sources before being relied on for real-world decisions.

Refund and cancellation information

Membership management is routed through Whop. The application does not define refund eligibility or cancellation timing.
